Levente-Kovacs-ComposerLevente Kovacs (born 1993) is a Hungarian composer, arranger, mockup artist and pianist. His ability to play the piano by ear led him to a musical career. He studied Applied Composition at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and then he completed his Master’s degree in Media Composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, in 2018.

Levente’s talent for writing memorable theme tunes and creating complex orchestrations has been recognized through several international film music contest wins: Call for Scores (2024), ScoreLive Theme Tune Competition (2024), and the German Game Music Award (2019).

Levente has taken part in numerous film music courses. In 2017, he was selected as one of 12 composers from over 300 applicants for the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop in Los Angeles. At the end of the four-week workshop, he recorded his music for a scene from “Cinderella” with a world-class orchestra at the Newman Scoring Stage (20th Century FOX Studios).

In 2023, he has been invited to the Film Music Orchestral Course with Alastair King, organised by the FAMES Institute in Skopje.

Levente has been a finalist and active participant in the FMF Young Talent Award workshop for several years.

Since 2019 he has been a featured composer for the Vienna Symphonic Library, creating audio demo tracks showcasing their upcoming products.

He is based in Augsburg (Germany).
